 The villa has 2 bedrooms (one double, one with two single beds) both with en-suite bathrooms, lounge, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen that is every women's dream.Furthermore, it is fully furnished with top of the range finishes and furniture, including granite tops in the kitchen, under floor heating and fireplaces for those freezing winter evenings.

The spacious open plan lounge leads out on to the covered patio from where you will be spoilt by the amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Leave your cadac at home as there is a built in braai on the patio.For entertainment there is DSTV in the lounge.

The golf course was upgraded to 18 holes recently and offer excellent golfing opportunities as trout fishing in the dams.

Clarens streets are lined with craft shops and art galleries, as well as a host of hospitable cafes, restaurants and pubs.Every year around July Clarens hosts an art exhibition that atracts many tourists.

With no traffic lights or any franchised restaurants in Clarens, you will enjoy all the coffee shops, restaurants and pubs on offer.

There are numerious activities to enjoy in Clarens :

Golf - As you are staying on the Clarens golf and trout estate, there should be no reason to miss out on a round of golf.

Trout fishing - Clarens offers some of the best trout fishing waters in South Africa.The dams on the golf and trout estate are stocked with brown and rainbow trout.

White water river rafting - With Lesotho close there are some good spots to enjoy rafting.The best will be on the Ash river for a 3 hour trip.

The list is of other possibilities is a long one: there’s hiking, quad biking, horse riding, abseiling, bass or fly-fishing, clay pigeon shooting, climbing walls, 4x4 trails, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, squash, bowls, swimming and rock climbing.Lately you can book yourself on a hot air balloon trip as well.

Directions

Take the N3 highway from Johannesburg to Durban. As you cross the Vaal River at Villiers, turn off the N3 and follow the R26 to Frankfort. Continue with the R26 until you get to a T-Junction and TURN TO YOUR RIGHT towards Frankfort. Pass the town of Frankfort and cross a bridge over a large river. Veer towards the left still on the R 26 towards Tweeling. Continue straight on with this road, the R26, over a stop street and past Reitz. When you get to Bethlehem carry on through 2 sets of traffic lights, then a four way stop, and then through a third set of traffic lights, and past a large Engen Garage on your right. About 6 kmís from Bethlehem turn onto the R711/2 to Golden Gate & Clarens. You are about 25 kmís from Clarens. You will pass through the Noupoort or ďNekĒ of Clarens.When you see Clarens on your right continue for few hundred metres till you see the Clarens golf and trout estate entrance on your left.
