A family with a passion for the wine trade, always striving to learn more. We take finding wine treasures for you seriously. We do not list the wine we have available as the Cape is our wine list. We are able to source any wine you may require. The Wine Cellar was brought to life towards the end of 1996 after a realisation that there was a need for a speciality wine store in Natal. Margie's passion for finding different and new wine from the Cape and sharing it with her friends is exactly where the concept was borne. Starting with only 52 red and 22 white wine labels in what was once a dairy, she could never have imagined that in only 10 years her passion could be turned into such a resounding success. Now-days you are spoilt for choice with over 2 000 different labels to choose from and over 1 000 000 backup bottles in stock. Even though the 2 000 labels is only a third of what is available in the Cape, it is one of the biggest selections in Natal. The Wine Cellar also boasts labels that they are the exclusive sellers of, aside from the farm, in South Africa. Whilst you will be able to make a selection from a huge selection of wines, you will also be spoilt for choice with any brandies, ports, muscadels, liqueurs, spirits, beers and coffees. The Wine Cellar offers the expertise you would come to expect when buying something as individual as wine. You will truly be surprised by what you find in this tiny midlands village.
