Cayley Lodge is a mountain retreat and conference venue providing a rejuvenating and easily accessible escape from the rat race. This is a lodge with a whole new concept in comfort and design with some of the most dramatic scenery in the Drakensberg. Set in 286 glorious acres overlooking Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle, you can choose between forest walks, berg hikes and horse riding.

Lodge Accommodation
A
gracious home from home-style hotel, Cayley Lodge offers 34 bedrooms, 2
of which are executive suites. Each en suite bedroom, is complete with dressing
room. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery from meticulously manicured gardens,
you can relax around the sparkling pool overlooking the Drakensberg
mountain range, or sip tea from the pretty terrace.
Confernce and wedding facilities
The Farm House conference centre, which is removed from the main lodge to
ensure privacy and a peaceful environment, has a magnificent view over the
mountains and dam below. The Centre can comfortably cater for up to 100
delegates, with a main function room, and 2 smaller boardrooms, a kitchen
and rest rooms. The centre offers considerable flexibility to meet specific
company needs.

When you and your guests have booked a minimum of 15 rooms (sleeping 30 guests, Friday to Sunday), Cayley Lodge will extend the following as part of the package:
- Free use of the Farmhouse restaurant as a reception venue#
- Complimentary honeymoon suite for bridal couple on Saturday night
- 1 Bottle of champagne for the bridal couple on their honeymoon night
Should you book all 34 rooms, (for Friday to Sunday), Cayley Lodge will
extend the following as part of the package. Booking the whole hotel also
entitles you to exclusivity and basically “your wish is our command”.
- Free use of the reception venue (Farmhouse or Haggis Pot)
- Complimentary honeymoon suite for the bridal couple on Saturday and Sunday night
- A bottle of champagne for the bridal couple on their honeymoon night
- 50% discount on accommodation for a 2 night stay on your 1st anniversary
Venue one: Haggis Pot Restaurant (only available if you reserve the entire hotel)
The
cosy Haggis Pot restaurant leads off the main reception area, allowing the
guests to remain under cover at all times. Once in the dining area, your
guests are still able to enjoy the majestic view of sweeping lawns leading
up onto the dramatic Drakensberg.
The Haggis Pot is an ideal venue, suitable for all occasions, whether it
be day or night and at any time of the year. The Haggis Pot restaurant can
only be used for the reception, if all hotel rooms are taken up. Max 60
people
Venue two: Farmhouse Conference Centre
The Farmhouse Conference Centre is a very quaint, thatched roof rondavel set
away from the main building, where one can have food, drink and dancing yet
still enjoy the tranquillity and magnificent views of the Drakensberg
mountains. A private setting in which to share this intimate moment with
your invited guests around you. All this under one roof !!!!
