The Bergville Caravan Park is situated on the foothills of the Drakensberg and on the banks of the Tugela River.  Some of the most picturesque hiking trails at Cathkin Park, Cathedral Peak, Champagne Castle, Oliviershoek, Royal National Park Mount Aux Sources and various historical monuments are within a radius of 55 kilometres.

The Park has fully equipped chalets and Park Homes as well as caravan and camping sites. There is a trampoline, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a bowling green.  Our boundary, the Tugela River is ideal for canoeing and fishing

Directions

Should you come from Durban take the N3 and go past the Mooi River Tol Plaza. About four kilometres after the Shell Ultra City turn left onto the Winterton / Central Berg /Northern Berg and Bergville Road. (R74) Pass through Winterton and travel for about 20 km. on the Bergville Road. As you approach Bergville you cross the Tugela River, turn-off is about 500 metres further on you right hand side. Our park is about 800 metres from the tar road. From Johannesburg take the N3 to Harrismith. In Harrismith take the Bethlehem/Kestell road for about 5 km. Turn off left onto the Bergville / Qwa Qwa Road (R74), travel for about 7 km. and once again take the Bergville/Oliviershoek Pass Road on your left hand side carry on to Bergville. Pass through Bergville and about 500 metres before the Tugela River bridge there is a board that says Backpackers and Caravan Park, our turn off is to your left.
